Volunteer

Texas Metro Wildlife Rehabilitators is a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization. There are many volunteer opportunities within TMWR.

Working with Wildlife

Wildlife rehabilitation is a learned skill. To work directly with wildlife, the laws of the State of Texas require that you must learn under the supervision of a permitted rehabilitator.

How Do I Volunteer?

To be a volunteer, you must:

To start the volunteer process, please register at Volunteer Match or Voly and then attend one of our scheduled orientation classes.

There are many more opportunities where we need your help. Remember, that no help is too small!
